Workshops for Couples
Workshops for couples and families are
engaging and interactive. During each session, workshop leaders will discuss
and demonstrate a practical skill and then allow for participants to practice
with their loved ones. The following are a sample of what’s discussed:
- Love & commitment in adult relationships
- Communication
& problem solving methods
- Managing
family changes (i.e. birth of a child, kids going to college, loss of a job,
etc.)
- Challenges & stressful situations
These workshops give couples and families an
opportunity to learn new ways to improve their relationship as well as provide
a lively and entertaining group time.
Workshops for Individuals
Workshops for single individuals are designed
for single adults who are looking for a relationship, are in-between
relationships or are undergoing stressful situations in an existing
relationship.
These practical workshops help participants gain communication
and conflict resolution skills in order to foster their ability to find,
build and maintain satisfying intimate relationships.
Workshops for Students
Workshops for students are aimed to give teens
a positive and encouraging model for committed and healthy relationships. Our
goal is to help young people acquire practical skills and useful knowledge for
forming emotionally healthy, mutually respectful and ethically sound
relationships.
These workshops also provide general life
skills, such as career exploration, expenditure decision making, money
management and choice evaluation.
